She Sings Of Murder

"She Sings of Murder and Love" is a hybrid documentary feature investigating the unsolved 1988 murder of Inga Maria Hauser, an 18-year-old German backpacker killed in Northern Ireland. Directed by Virginia Heath, the film follows Irish singer-songwriter Keeley Moss, who has spent seven years pursuing the case, weaving her original music and performance together with dramatic reconstruction and investigative documentary.

Inga's own diaries, photographs and postcards run through the film, keeping her voice and agency at its centre. The film is now in post-production, slated for release in 2027.
