This film was made with Scott Stewart, directed and produced by Lizzie Lawrence, in the months following his 2023 motor neurone disease (MND) diagnosis, while he was still able to tell his own story in his own words. A long-time fan of the Genesis Scottish Open, Scott took on the role of Honorary Starter for the Pro-Am in 2024, raising awareness for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation alongside professional golfer Robert MacIntyre. Asked how he saw the fight ahead, Scott put it simply: "I'm not beaten yet and I'm not giving up."
Within a couple of months of filming, his condition had worsened; by the end of the year, he had passed away. Heartbreaking and empowering in equal measure, it's the kind of project that stays with you for the rest of a career — a privilege to have spent that time with someone so strong, courageous and warm.
